The fall season is a new chapter: school’s back in session, the weather shifts, and the summer’s rhythm gives way to new programming, new campaigns, and new activities. Here’s a round-up of SALT resources to help you and your congregation turn over a new leaf.

First, for many churches, fall is the time for giving campaigns.

SALT has four plug-and-play, beautifully designed campaign kits to choose from, complete with fully customizable letters to your congregation, a campaign logo and letterhead, pledge card, giving chart, worship and sermon resources, social media prompts, and more. Everything’s integrated and organized around each campaign’s theological theme: “Abundant Life” (brand new this year), “Grace in Action,” “A Future with Hope” or “Together for Joy.” Make this year’s campaign the best (and the easiest) ever!

Check out “Abundant Life” here, “Grace in Action” here, “A Future with Hope” here, and “Together for Joy” here. Select your congregation size, and then click through for photos, a full description of the customizable kit, and more.

The fall is also a time for kicking off new programming for small groups.

Want to widen and deepen the welcome your congregation is offering the world? SALT’s “Hospitality Audit: Tools of the Trade” is a lively, theologically grounded guide for congregations to evaluate their hospitality and make intentional, doable, effective improvements. The guide comes with a beautiful, engaging poster.

And here’s the trifecta: every purchase of SALT’s “Hospitality: Tools of the Trade” Customizable Short Film comes with the audit guide and poster, too!

Want to take a deep dive into confronting racism, inequality, prejudice, and privilege in our lives and communities? “The Anatomy of a Christian” small group study guide takes the ancient image of the Body of Christ as a framework and springboard for exploring these challenges in accessible, fruitful ways.

Fall is also a time of outreach and hospitality.

Enliven your church website and social media presence with a beautiful, affordable Customizable Short Film that puts your community’s best foot forward:

“Rainbow Welcome Mat” is an arts-and-crafty short film that poetically, exuberantly welcomes all.

“Welcome!” beautifully assembles the building blocks of hospitality.

SALT’s bestselling welcome film, “Rainbow Bread” (see below) is a sweet meditation on what it means to be the church.

“12 Ways to Be Christian” brings us back to basics.

And “Bloom” puts the emphasis on caring for creation.

(Not sure what a “Customizable Short Film” is? Check it out here!)

Finally, fall is also a time of sprucing up, reconnecting, and celebrating each other.

SALT’s lovely original clip art is a great way to beautify bulletins, screens, newsletters, and social media.

Know someone who deserves some appreciation? Why not sound the trumpets and present them with a “Certificate of Awesomeness”?

For every animal lover who takes seriously God’s call to care for all creatures, here’s a lovely, inspiring poster: “Endangered Animals ABC’s.”

For families with young children in the mix, here’s SALT’s toe-tapping, theologically-grounded, Americana-roots-infused music for all ages. (Both albums make great gifts for births, baptisms, and Sunday School (online or in person).)

And these days, everyone can use a pick-me-up! Try posting a “Free Compliments” flier or a “Self Care Ideas for Bad Days” flier in your favorite coffee shop, church hallway, or home refrigerator! (You can customize them with your church name and website, and also send them out by email to your whole congregation, so folks can print them at home.)

Happy Fall, everyone!

Peace,
The SALT Team
