A New Short Film: "Otherwise," by Jane Kenyon

SALT recently had the privilege of visiting Eagle Pond Farm in Wilmot, New Hampshire, where Jane Kenyon and Donald Hall shared a writing life. While we were there, we made a little film of gratitude for Kenyon’s poem “Otherwise.”

In this turbulent time of war and rumors of war, cruelty, apathy, chaos, tumult, and hurt, this poem steadies something in us. Watch it here or below (and yes, that’s Jane herself reading!).
