Emily Arin

Martin Luther once said, “Next to the Word of God, the noble art of music is the greatest treasure in the world.”  We couldn’t agree more!

Over here at SALT, our work days are full of music!  We listen when we’re shooting, making props, writing, feeling discouraged, or on top of the world!

And, every once in a while we come across a song that touches something deep down inside of us...

It’s not the arrangement, the lyrics, or the quality of the vocals, but everything all mixed up together that makes us feel lighter, more hopeful, and a little more soft-hearted.

That happened the second we heard Emily Arin’s song, “You Won My Heard Outright.”

One iTunes review said, "Arin’s voice is sweetly waif-like, suggesting idealism bruised by experience...”  We couldn’t agree more!  And, we can’t stop listening to her delicate voice and decidedly broken yet hopeful lyrics!

So, check out some of Arin's music here.  Follow her on FB here.  And, for good measure, listen to the track below to get a glimpse of her less-is-more, listen-to-it-all-day kind of voice.
