your feet

Take a moment and look down at your feet.  What's under them?  Carpet, hardwood, tile, snow, grass, mud?  

How often we walk along our way and never look down at what we are walking over, except to make sure we don’t trip or slip.

When was the last time you thought about the ground as holy ground?  As what supports you, carries you, gives you all the things you need to live?

Very truly, I tell you, it’s holy ground — created by God, given by God.
