Gretchen Sommers

Gretchen wants to live in a world where kindness is king, turntables replace televisions, and everyone with a good idea finds encouragement.  On any given day, you can find Gretchen creating art with her kids, sewing something fabulous,  baking oatmeal bread (she kind of has to as a mennonite), and doing publicity and props for SALT.

Hilary Rhodes

Hilary loves making the world a little more pretty and a lot more functional through graphic design!  She rarely makes the same recipe twice, is addicted to yoga, and can’t stop laying in hammocks.  She loves Panang Curry and candycorn, but makes sure to eat chips and salsa every day.  When she’s not sitting at her computer designing and listening to her Lisa Loeb Pandora station, she’s with her three kids, doing mom things like driving them to violin lessons and convincing teachers that homework should be optional.  She is thrilled to be a part of SALT Project, where she believes creativity and beautiful ideas can change the world.
